Job summary

Faxon Firearms, LLC in Ohio is seeking an experienced Mazak Integrex Operator on second shift to set up, operate and maintain Mazak Integrex multi-axis CNC machines, producing precision components to specification. You will interpret complex blueprints, edit Mazatrol programs, and perform in-process inspections with micrometers and calipers.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, independent work, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating Mazak Integrex or similar multi-axis CNC machines.
• Working knowledge of Mazatrol programming.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Prior experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak Integrex CNC machines for precision machining operations.
• Edit and make minor modifications to Mazatrol programs as needed to ensure part accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job specifications to determine machine setup and operations.
• Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part conformance.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including tool changes and cleaning.
• Document production information and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
