Job summary

Faxon Firearms, LLC is seeking an experienced Mazak Integrex Operator for the second shift to set up, operate, and maintain Mazak Integrex multi-axis CNC machines. You will read blueprints, edit Mazatrol programs, and perform in-process inspections to ensure tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience on Mazak Integrex or similar CNCs, strong measuring tools proficiency, and the ability to work independently with some overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating Mazak Integrex CNC machines or similar multi-axis CNC machines.
• Working knowledge of Mazatrol programming.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Prior experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak Integrex CNC machines for precision machining operations.
• Edit and modify Mazatrol programs as needed to ensure part accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job specifications to determine machine setup and operations.
• Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools to verify part conformance.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including tool changes and cleaning.
• Document production information and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Communicate production status and issues with team members and supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
