Job summary

Faxon Firearms is seeking an experienced Mazak Integrex Operator for the second shift to set up, program, and run Mazak Integrex multi-axis CNC machines, ensuring precise components per blueprints. The role requires Mazatrol programming knowledge and strong measurement skills.

You will read complex drawings, adjust machining parameters, and perform in-process inspections while maintaining safety and clean work habits. Reports to Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Mazak Integrex and Mazatrol programming.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak Integrex CNC machines for precision machining.
• Edit Mazatrol programs as needed to ensure part accuracy.
• Read blueprints/work orders and determine machine setup and operations.
• Perform in-process inspections with micrometers/calipers to verify conformance.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and tool changes.
• Document production information and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate production status and issues with team and supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work area clean and organized.
