Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking laboratory technicians to convert field samples into actionable numbers, applying Proctor curves, sieve analyses, Atterberg limits, moisture contents, and compressive strength data. You will work inside an AASHTO R18 quality system with calibrated equipment and traceable results.

Responsibilities include performing ASTM testing, maintaining calibration and records, logging samples, and reporting strength results.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and clean documentation habits.
• Training provided; prior lab experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with repetitive precision work.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASTM D698, D1557, D2216, D4318, C136, and C39 testing
• Maintain calibration, standardization, and quality records
• Log samples and preserve chain of custody
• Break cylinders and report strength results the same day
• Support proficiency programs and accreditation assessments
