Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a laboratory technician to convert field samples into numbers used for Proctor curves, sieve analyses, and strength tests. You will work inside a documented quality system with calibrated equipment and accountability for every result that leaves the lab.

You will perform standard ASTM tests, log samples, and maintain chain of custody, while training and growing within the organization.

Qualifications

• Careful hands, clean documentation habits, mechanical aptitude.
• Prior lab or CMT experience a plus, not required — we train.
• Comfortable with repetitive precision work done right every time.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASTM D698, D1557, D2216, D4318, C136, and C39 testing
• Maintain calibration, standardization, and quality records
• Log samples and preserve chain of custody
• Break cylinders and report strength results same day
• Support proficiency sample programs and accreditation assessments
