Job summary

You will assist in improving manufacturing processes, troubleshoot and maintain equipment, and support ongoing production with documentation and data collection.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (2 years) in a technical field or 5 years of engineering technician experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
• Solid understanding of fundamental mechanical systems.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Self-starter with initiative and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide process improvement and stabilization support to Operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex production equipment.
• Support ongoing operations addressing assembly problems, supplier quality, in-process metrology, tooling and fixture issues.
• Perform lab testing to assist in improvements or problem solving.
• Prepare, ECO, and maintain up-to-date product build documentation (written procedures, test plans).
• Support opportunities for Manufacturing Cost reductions and interface with multidisciplinary teams.
