Rust Belt Recruiting is seeking a Manufacturing Technician/Machinist for 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 5:15 PM–3:45 AM with $4.00 shift differential) and 1st shift (Mon–Thu, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM). The role involves setting up and operating manufacturing equipment, ensuring tight part tolerances per blueprints, and mentoring team members.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to stand for 10 hours.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience operating and setting up manufacturing machinery.
• Rotary die-cutting experience is a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Stand for 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs; overtime flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and run equipment by preparing machines and entering settings prior to production runs.
• Monitor part quality to ensure dimensions match blueprints.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Log machine data and update daily production reports.
• Train and mentor new machine operators on procedures and quality requirements.
• Maintain Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices on the line.
• Perform other duties to support production goals.
