Job summary

Provisur Technology in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced machinist to support production and mentor operators. You will configure tooling, secure workpieces, troubleshoot programming issues, and ensure machines are production-ready.

You will improve changeover processes, drive continuous improvement, maintain tooling inventory, and document procedures to uphold quality and efficiency on a 4/10 shift (Mon-Thu, 5am-3pm). Relocation assistance available for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining, fabricating, welding and metal finishing.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC lathe and mill setup.
• Proficiency in Mastercam (2020+), AutoCAD, and G-Code programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to machinists and prepare machines for production.
• Train and mentor operators on machine operation and workflows.
• Configure tooling, secure workpieces, and verify pre-operation readiness.
• Standardize changeover procedures to reduce downtime and waste.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize machining techniques.
• Maintain tooling inventory and document processes.
