Great Plains Manufacturing in Salina, KS is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Salina facility. This position works Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed.

You will review processes, identify defects, interpret engineering blueprints, and ensure welds, paint and fasteners meet specs while following safety regulations. The role emphasizes problem-solving, precision, and teamwork in a world-class manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• Experience reading welds, paints, and fasteners.
• Ability to read and understand engineering prints.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with interpersonal skills.
• Previous QA Inspector experience in manufacturing is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Review manufacturing processes to ensure quality products.
• Identify defective parts in each department.
• Troubleshoot causes of defects and suggest changes.
• Inspect equipment to confirm proper welds, paint and fasteners.
• Interpret engineering blueprints to meet specifications.
• Follow safety regulations and wear protective equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
