Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing in Salina, KS is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector on the 1st shift. The role focuses on reviewing processes and identifying defects to ensure products meet specifications. You will interpret engineering blueprints, inspect welds and finishes, and uphold OSHA safety standards.

The position runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand engineering prints
• Demonstrate familiarity with precision measuring tools

• Experience as QA Inspector in manufacturing is helpful

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing processes to ensure quality product
• Identify defective parts in each department and address as needed
• Troubleshoot causes of defects and recommend changes
• Inspect equipment to confirm welds, paint and fasteners meet specs
• Interpret engineering blueprints to ensure product meets specifications
• Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE
