Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing in Salina, KS is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector on the 1st shift. The position runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

Q uality Assurance Inspector – 1st Shift - Salina, KS

Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Assurance Inspector for our Salina Facility.

This position works Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review manufacturing processes throughout the facility to ensure a quality product
• Identify defective parts in each department and address as needed
• Troubleshoot causes of defects and make recommendations for changes
• Inspect equipment to confirm proper welds, paint and fasteners
• Interpret Engineering blueprints to ensure product meets specifications
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
