Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals LLC in Indianapolis is seeking a Design Process Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and CNC programs for precision machined components. You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and suppliers to improve manufacturability, quality, productivity, and cost while complying with industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering and at least 5 years in

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
5+ years in manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, process engineering, or precision machining.
GD&T and blueprint interpretation required.
Experience with fixtures and workholding design.
CNC programming and process optimization

Aufgaben

Develop and improve manufacturing processes for precision machined components.
Design and develop machining fixtures including material selection based on strength and wear.
Develop, validate, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machining platforms.
Support 5-axis, turn-mill, and multi-tasking machine tools.
Utilize G-Code, Fanuc Macro B, and Okuma User Task programming.
