This role collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Production, and equipment suppliers to improve manufacturability, quality, productivity, and cost while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Precision machining processes including turning, milling, grinding, and EDM
• Fixture and workholding design
• CNC programming and process optimization
• Root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for precision machined components.
• Design and develop machining fixtures including selection of appropriate materials based on strength, wear, and performance requirements.
• Develop, validate, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machining platforms.
• Support 5-axis, turn-mill, and multi-tasking machine tools.
• Utilize G-Code, Fanuc Macro B, and Okuma User Task programming.

The Design Process Engineer develops and optimizes manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and CNC programs for precision machined components.

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, process engineering, or precision machining.
