Job summary

Metallus Inc. is seeking a manufacturing operator to run floor production equipment, handle materials, and perform gauging and packing. You will meet efficiency goals, ensure part quality, and uphold customer specifications through proper gauging and documentation.

The role requires basic computer skills, RF scanning, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant. Training will cover saws, cranes, forklifts, and safe operation practices.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED with 2 years in manufacturing.
• Experience operating saws and overhead cranes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment per instructions and docs.
• Meet efficiency goals on each operating piece.
• Produce quality parts within customer specs and gauging rules.
• Record production and inventory changes, complete QC docs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operate safely in a team environment and communicate effectively.
