Job summary

Arcosa Inc. is seeking a Control Process Operator to set up and operate machinery including Cut Table, Quick Mill, HAAS, and Drill Press, forming or cutting materials to designated shapes and sizes, and transferring materials to storage areas.

The role requires reading blueprints, verifying dimensions, and using overhead cranes or forklifts to move materials safely, while following all safety rules. You will troubleshoot equipment, adjust as needed, and contribute to quality and workflow

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a 20’ or larger break press, plasma table, or drill press, preferably breaking and/or cutting steel up to 2” thick.
• Working knowledge/experience with angle grinders/metal manufacturing/fabrication.
• Minimum of 1 year experience.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Ability to read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements.
• Ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
• Ability to stand, climb on/off equipment, and lift materials over 50 pounds regularly.
• A dependable, positive attitude and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines: Cut Table, Quick Mill, HAAS, Drill Press.
• Form/cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes.
• Operate overhead cranes and/or forklifts to move materials safely.
• Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments.
• Make decisions on quality, tolerances, and operation sequence.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Other job duties as assigned.
