Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo in Milford, OH is seeking an assembler to fit, align, and adjust components to tight tolerances for mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. The role uses hand and power tools, with occasional welding fabrication tasks and blueprints interpretation.

Pay is based on experience with a range of $19 to $21 per hour. Candidates should have welding experience or willingness to learn, and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assembler in a manufacturing environment; welding experience or willingness to learn.
• Experience with hand and power tools required.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Consistent work history and good attendance.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug screen and background check; marijuana testing occurs.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to wear steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.

Responsibilities

• Installation of components to specifications using hand and power tools and equipment.
• Ensure parts match drawings and meet quality standards for the product being assembled.
• Interpret blueprints, process flow instructions, and other written or verbal inputs.
• Report shop floor production data to Process or Team Lead for input to computer terminals or reports.
• Follow visual and written work instructions to complete tasks within time limits.
• Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Support other projects and duties as assigned.
