TECOMET in Roebling, NJ is seeking a Manual Machinist to perform diverse machining on stainless steel and other alloys. You will set up and operate mills, lathes, drill presses, and related tools, reading blueprints to produce parts to exact tolerances.

The role requires at least 3 years of machine shop experience, proficiency with hand tools, and careful documentation of work and inspection results. You will collaborate with engineering on fixtures and tooling while maintaining safety and

Competenze

Must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Proficient with measurement and inspection tools for finish specifications and dimensions.
Welding experience is desirable.
Able to perform basic trade mathematics and data entry.
Detail oriented with ability to multitask.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

Set up and operate manual machines including milling machines, lathes, drill presses, gun drills, and surface grinders.
Rework parts per print with written and verbal instructions.
Maintain production by completing scheduled work on-time.
Inspect components and assemblies to ensure form, fit, and function to spec.
Document routings and inspection reports; log time and keep shop packets current.
Maintain material and hardware inventory; assist maintenance with parts as needed.
Work with engineering to develop fixtures and tooling; support other production duties.
Ensure a clean, safe, organized work area and on-time delivery.
