Qualifications

• Experience with manual mills and lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and tolerances
• Strong measurement and inspection skills
• Independent setup planning for machining
• Experience producing one-off or small-batch parts
• Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual mills and lathes, including Bridgeport mills
• Create machine setups and custom workholding for unique parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Machine high-mix, low-volume parts with precision
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust setups as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety and 5S standards
