Qualifications

• High school diploma with two years shop training or equivalent.
• 2–4 years’ experience operating a manual mill or lathe.
• Proficiency in gauges, micrometers, Vernier; reading drawings and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Operates lathes, mills and other production equipment with supervision.
• Reads drawings, process sheets, and specifications to set up operations.
• Adjusts machines, selects tooling and fixtures; maintains tooling in good condition.
• Performs close tolerance machining such as forming, boring, turning, facing, drilling, tapping, honing.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and follows all safety directives.
• May perform minor program edits and related shop tasks as required.
