Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a skilled Machine Repair Technician for our Miamisburg, Ohio site. The role supports the production team by maintaining and repairing machinery, ensuring peak performance to deliver high-quality materials.

This is a 2nd shift position (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) on-site. Qualifications include 3+ years in mechanical repair, strong shop math, and hydraulics/pneumatics experience, with the ability to operate mills, drills, lathes, grinders, and surface grinders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a mechanical repair environment.
• Applied education and/or apprenticeship.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical equipment malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot using drawings, diagrams and manuals and replace defective components.
• Ensure correct positioning of production machines and perform preventive maintenance.
• Inspect shop equipment and comply with OSHA regulations.
