Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking skilled Machinists for 2nd and 3rd shifts to produce high-precision aerospace parts onsite. You will operate lathe, mill, grind and EDM processes, read GD&T drawings, and inspect parts to ensure strict quality standards.

Requires a high school diploma or GED (or better) and 1 year of machinist experience. A $3,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants; relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred and ability to understand English work instructions.
• At least 1 year of experience as a skilled machinist in Lathe, Mill, Grind or EDM.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and operation sheets.

Responsibilities

• Follow training period to work with minimum supervision in the cell.
• Set up machines and adjust tooling to produce quality parts per process.
• Operate lathes, mills and grinders with GD&T blueprints in mind.
• Inspect finished work and use gaging equipment to ensure specs.
• Interpret drawings and operation sheets to maintain process control.
