Job summary

Moog is seeking skilled Machinists on 2nd and 3rd shifts in Buffalo, NY. You will machine high-precision aerospace and defense components, following print and GD&T instructions, and perform setups and inspections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a skilled, precision machinist in Lathe, Mill, Grind, EDM.
• Able to read and interpret GD&T blueprints and operation sheets.

Responsibilities

• Follow training period and work under minimal supervision, helping plan work and solve problems.
• Perform machine setups ranging from simple to complex using proven processes.
• Run machines and adjust tooling to ensure quality parts per process.
• Inspect all work, set up gaging equipment, and detect deviations or errors in blueprints.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches and operation sheets.
