Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC in Newnan, GA is seeking a Machinist (3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am) to operate CNC and manual machines, inspect precision parts, and interpret blueprints. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to GD&T, and teamwork. Candidates with machining certificates or a high school diploma are encouraged; experience with 3/5-axis CNC and grinding/milling is a plus.

Overtime eligible under the non-exempt policy. Advancement opportunities exist based on performance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Machining certificate or trade school preferred.
Experience with CNC and/or manual machinery valued but not required for entry level.
Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to fabricate or repair precision components.
Interpret blueprints and work orders to determine setups and sequences.
Apply GD&T to ensure product conformity.
Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and verify specifications.
Align and secure fixtures, tools and materials on machines.
Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain quality.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment uptime.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Communicate with team and supervisors to prioritize work.
Adhere to safety and environmental policies.
