Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a General Machinist in Alabama to operate both CNC and manual equipment on precision parts from blueprints. You will set up machines, select tooling, and verify tolerances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates read schematics, program CNC controls, and maintain quality while adhering to safety standards. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, schematics and work orders.
• Proficient in programming, editing, and operating CNC controls.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling selection.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Program, modify, and verify CNC instructions as needed.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and materials for each run and verify quality.
