Griffin Associates is hiring a CNC Machinist to produce custom precision parts in Albertville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 1 year of CNC machining experience and proficiency in SolidWorks or CAD for reading blueprints. This is a full-time position with starting pay that increases quickly by $3 to $4.

You will set up and operate CNC machines, read and interpret blueprints, maintain equipment, and ensure quality checks. Benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year CNC experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or CAD for technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations.
• Program and adjust machine controls for cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments like CMM.
• Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing routine maintenance.
