Job summary

N.C. Tool Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Machinist for our Waynesboro, VA facility. You will set up and operate manual and CNC machines to produce precision components to exact specifications, interpreting drawings and work orders daily.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling and materials, monitoring operations, inspecting parts, and performing routine maintenance. You will work with the team to ensure safety, quality, and on-time production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong machining skills with setup, operation and adjustment of manual and/or CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions with understanding of measurement tolerances.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and work orders to set up tooling and materials.
• Operate and monitor manual and/or CNC machines to produce close-tolerance parts.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards; perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects safely and efficiently; follow all safety guidelines.
