Job summary

KNF Neuberger, Inc. in Hamilton, NJ is seeking an entry-level or experienced Machinist for first shift (7:00am – 3:30pm) in a clean, temperature-controlled shop to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, and/or manual lathes and mills for pump component parts.

The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. The Machinist will read drawings, program with guidance from senior personnel, fabricate

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual lathes and mills.
• Edit machine programs with guidance from senior personnel.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify parts meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment per ISO standards.
• Maintain 5S in assigned areas.
• Complete production paperwork and documentation.
