Job summary

Preformed Line Products is seeking a skilled Machinist to manufacture, repair, and modify precision components in Rogers, AR. The role requires experience with manual and CNC machining, blueprint reading, fabrication, and troubleshooting manufacturing-related issues.

The position offers full-time, on-site work with strong emphasis on quality, safety, and collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance teams to resolve tooling and equipment challenges.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with manual machining equipment required.
• CNC setup and programming experience preferred.
• Toolroom, mold repair, or fixture-building experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, surface grinders, and conventional machine tools.
• Machine, repair, and modify precision components, fixtures, and tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, grinding, and fitting operations.
• Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve tooling, equipment, and manufacturing-related issues.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
