Job summary

BHS Corrugated North America in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support machining, welding, equipment operation, and quality processes in our Knoxville facility.

This hands-on role requires 3+ years of machining or manufacturing experience, the ability to read blueprints and inspect parts, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. You’ll operate lathes, grinders, and welding equipment, document production in SAP, and help maintain a rigorous quality standard.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machining or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes, strip tanks, and polishing equipment.
• Perform repair welding using MIG and TIG welding processes.
• Enter production data into SAP and shop floor systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Support 5S workplace organization and safe work practices.
• Train into operation of flute grinders and OD grinders.
• Use precision tools to perform measurements and quality inspections.
• Work as a flexible team member supporting shift coverage, vacations, and production demands.
