Job summary

BHS Corrugated North America in Knoxville, TN is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will inspect precision-machined corrugating rolls and cassettes throughout production to ensure every product meets our high quality standards before shipment.

The role requires experience with precision measuring tools, the ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T a plus), and a proven track record of delivering accurate results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings (GD&T experience is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic computer skills; SAP or ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on manufactured components.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall product quality using precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Document inspection results and communicate quality issues to production.
• Identify non-conforming parts and support corrective actions.
• Help ensure products meet quality standards before shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures.
