Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility to support maintenance, repair, and reliability of CNC machining and AM production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and help with installations and uptime improvements.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and foundational troubleshooting skills, with 0-2 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
0-2 years of industrial maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred.
0-2 years of hands-on exposure to CNC machining or industrial equipment environments preferred.
Foundational ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with developing troubleshooting capability.
Good communication and teamwork skills in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on CNC machines and production support equipment.
Assist with intermediate troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with limited supervision.
Support repairs, adjustments, and component replacements in collaboration with senior technicians.
Help with machine installations, equipment moves, leveling, and startup activities.
Complete daily, weekly, and scheduled maintenance tasks with growing independence.
Use maintenance ticketing systems to document work performed and update task status.
Communicate equipment issues and status updates to senior technicians and supervisors.
Use basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and correctly.
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives as directed.
Assist the maintenance team with general tasks to support production uptime.
