Tramec Sloan in the United States is seeking a Machining Technician to setup, operate, troubleshoot, maintain and optimize Hydromat rotary transfer and multi-spindle machines. You will help produce high-quality components and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Applicants with machining experience or strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply; paid hands-on training is provided to develop skills and advance within the company. Shift is Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:00pm.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Operate precision machining equipment safely to meet production requirements.
• Set up machines per drawings and work instructions.
• Load materials, monitor machine performance, and verify quality.
• Perform machine changeovers, tooling adjustments, and offsets.
• Inspect finished products with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist with repairs.
• Maintain records of production, quality, tooling, and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts as needed (training provided).
