Job summary

The inspector will utilize gauges and calipers, support defect disposition, and maintain accurate check sheets. Safety, OSHA/ISO responsibilities, and cross-training across departments are part of the job scope.

Qualifications

• Blue Print reading, hand tools use, Measuring tools experience.
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, able to build friendly work relationships
• Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office programs (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of aluminum parts and brake component parts using gauges and calipers.
• Ensure parts meet customer requirements and quality standards.
• Support review and disposition of defective parts.
• Complete check sheets and documentation for each model.
• Understand and perform testing as directed by the Quality team.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and ISO 14001 environmental standards.
