Eaton Corporation's EPG CHD EP Americas division is seeking an Operator I - 2nd Shift to set up and operate machines to produce quality parts according to pre-determined specifications. This role requires reading blueprints, operating equipment, and ensuring dimensional accuracy.

The position involves changing over machines, performing first piece inspections, and using gauges to verify conformance. Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours and lifting up to 35 lbs; ITAR work

Formación

• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.
• ITAR requires US person status (US citizen, permanent resident, or protected status).
• Stand for up to 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 lbs. regularly.

Responsabilidades

• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up, start, and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls as required.
• Operate a variety of machines as directed by supervisor or lead.
• Complete changeovers and material feed-through.
• Complete first piece inspections and machine guarding checklists.
• Use gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
