Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator for the Press Brake on the 2nd shift. The role involves performing fabrication operations on raw materials in the Fabrication Department with PLC, analog, or manual controlled machines.

The operator will follow safety rules, receive work orders, set up equipment, run production, inspect parts, and complete documentation. Training and TPM/5S+ duties are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Machining Certificate is preferred.
• Ability to read calipers, protractors, and tape measures.
• Reading blueprints is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations.
• Receive work assignments from Supervisor and interpret instructions.
• Perform initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines.
• Operate equipment to produce parts and inspect against specifications.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions; maintain tools and equipment.
• Provide on-the-job training for new Operators and support TPM/5S+ duties.
