Job summary

The York Group, Inc. seeks a Machine Operator to set up, calibrate, and run production equipment, inspecting output for conformance with tolerances using precision measuring tools.

You will assist with inspecting finished parts, and identifying and correcting minor malfunctions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include unloading parts, equipment setup, stocking parts, and maintaining accuracy in production orders.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of machine operating experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong basic math, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloads parts and inspects for quality and performs equipment set-up.
• Operates various equipment to meet production and business needs.
• Maintains stock of material and machine parts for equipment.
• Determine parts to be manufactured based upon production, orders and stock.
• Observes and maintains machines operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
