Badger Meter, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the production of water metering products. The role involves assembling meters, testing for accuracy, and packaging finished units in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include operating plastic injection molding equipment, assembling registers, and performing quality checks with standard inspection tools. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with forklift and hazmat training provided as

Qualifications

• High School Degree/GED required or preferred.
• 0-1 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to pass internal forklift and hazmat training.
• Basic proficiency with computers and math required.
• Basic reading, writing, and spoken English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble meters with accuracy, perform leak and meter testing, and package products per instructions.
• Operate injection molding tasks and perform secondary operations on molded parts, ensuring quality standards.
• Perform register assembly including PC boards and testing with provided equipment.
• Operate and monitor machining processes, verify parts with inspection tools and update job status.
