Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks a skilled operator to set up and run mechanically controlled production equipment, ensuring parts meet blueprints and tolerances. You will install fixtures, use gauges, and verify first piece approval while maintaining safety and quality records.

The role requires reading diagrams, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with strong teamwork and commitment to safety as core attributes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams and prints.
• Experience with measuring tools and inspection.

• Physical ability to lift 21–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up mechanically controlled production equipment such as press brakes, saws, drills, spot welders, flame cutters, shears and related devices.
• Install tools, dies or fixtures to meet blueprint tolerances and specs.
• Use wrenches, hoists, gauges and precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Correlate machine positions with alignment, tool sequence and part dimensions.
• Perform first piece inspection and mark samples for operators.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and record production/quality data.
