Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Capacity to work with basic arithmetic and measurements
• Must be able to operate equipment as trained and follow safety guidelines
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist designated machine operator or production team with maintenance, cleanup, yard work, warehouse and utilities
• Inspect product quality according to standards
• Maintain and verify production accuracy
• Set up and clean machines and participate in changeovers
• Support shift production preparation and loading/unloading of trucks
• Operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers as trained
• Count and manage product inventory
• Perform other duties as needed
