The Machine Operator Level C will operate various machinery to produce parts within dimensional tolerances, selecting feeds and speeds based on alloy type to optimize cutting conditions and tool life. Essential duties include following EHS rules, measuring parts, maintaining tools, and performing safety checks while collaborating with a team to meet print requirements and quality

Qualifications

• Learn and understand basic machine operation.
• Maintain focus and prioritise tasks with attention to detail.
• Use or learn calipers, micrometers and tape measures accurately.
• Learn to set speeds and feeds for diverse materials.
• Work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Identify defects and escalate to management when out of tolerance.
• Document measurements clearly when required.
• Build and maintain good working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Follow all EHS rules and regulations.
• Produce parts according to print requirements and tooling.
• Measure part dimensions with calipers, micrometers, or tape measures.
• Maintain tools and equipment to maximize tool life.
• Perform safety checks on every machine and keep area clean.
• Other duties as assigned, including special processes.
