Job summary

Greenbrier Companies, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator Level C to operate various machining equipment, produce parts within dimensional tolerances, and select feeds and speeds based on alloy type to maximize tool life.

You will follow all EHS rules in a production environment inside and outside, using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to check dimensions and ensure quality. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to document measurements and communicate

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and understand basic machine operation.
• Attention to detail while managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to measure with calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Knowledge of speeds and feeds for machine operation.
• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively.
• Ability to identify defects and escalate to management.

Responsibilities

• Follow all EHS rules and regulations.
• Produce parts per print requirements and tooling using machinery.
• Measure part dimensions with calipers, micrometers, or tape measures.
• Maintain tools and equipment to maximize tool life.
• Perform safety checks on every machine and keep area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
