Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. seeks a Machine Operator Level C to operate various machinery, achieve dimensional tolerances, and optimize cutting conditions for long tool life. You will follow prints, measure parts, and maintain equipment in a production environment.

Responsibilities include safety checks, teamwork, and documenting measurements. Candidates should be able to learn speeds/feeds and identify defects for quality control.

Qualifications

• Learn and understand basic machine operation.
• Maintain focus and attention to detail while multitasking.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Learn process for adjusting speeds and feeds of machines.
• Work and communicate effectively within a team.
• Identify defects or out-of-tolerance measurements and report to management.
• Document measurements and criteria clearly when required.
• Establish and maintain productive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Follow all EHS rules and regulations.
• Produce parts per print requirements using various machinery.
• Measure part dimensions with calipers, micrometers, or other tools.
• Maintain tools and equipment to maximize tool life.
• Perform safety checks on every machine and keep the area clean.
