QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator in Norway, IA. Earn $21.82–$24.82/hour with 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts. Hours span 7:15am–3:30pm, 3:15pm–11:30pm, or 11:15pm–7:30am. You will operate and adjust production equipment, monitor quality, and support daily manufacturing tasks.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes initiative, and works well solo or on a team. Benefits include competitive pay and a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills.
• Basic math including add/sub/mul/div.
• Ability to follow written and verbal English instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate machinery.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Food production experience is a plus, but not required.

Mansioni

• Operate production and distribution equipment throughout the shift.
• Make equipment adjustments and line changeovers to maintain product quality.
• Inspect products, handle materials, and perform quality control checks.
• Assist with packaging projects and equipment maintenance.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report equipment or production concerns.
• Help train new team members and work with other departments to resolve issues.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and help reduce waste.
