Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Machine Operator in Middleton, WI. This is a 1st shift position with hours 4:00am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri) and the opportunity for hire.

Responsibilities include operating cut saw and labeling/printing machines, moving foam blocks with a forklift, inspecting for quality, and assisting with forklift training. Requires ability to stand 8 hours, lift 50 lbs, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds at least 10 times per day.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Forklift and machine operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all orders and replenishments are completed accurately.
• Move Foam Block from storage with forklift.
• Operate cut saw and labeling/printing machine during production.
• Inspect product during production and communicate quality issues.
• Use table saw to cut samples for the lab.
• Complete training as back up truck loader. Operate forklift once trained.

• Able to bend, twist, reach, grasp, pinch.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds at least 10 times per day.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Able to work accurately within the guidelines, rules and procedures.
• Forklift and machine operator experience preferred.
• Able to work mandatory overtime.
