Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity in Plymouth, WI for an Operator. This is a potential to hire position with a wage of $21.50 per hour and 3rd shift availability: 11:00pm–7:00am or 6:00pm–6:00am.

You will set up and operate secondary processing equipment, inspect parts, read drawings, read routers, and maintain safety. The role requires a high school diploma, good math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand 8–10 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand/walk 8-10 hours and lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong math skills including fractions and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating secondary processing equipment.
• Producing quality products in accordance with company procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
• Completing inspection check sheets and all required documentation.
• Inspecting parts using measuring tools.
• Operating forklift.
• Inspecting and packaging parts from extrusion lines following specification sheets and packaging diagrams.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and routers, applying basic math skills, and using hand-held measuring tools.
• Assisting with basic equipment care and maintenance.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
