Job summary

Greenbrier Companies is seeking a Machine Operator Level C to operate multiple machines and produce parts within tight tolerances. You will select feeds and speeds based on alloy type to optimize cutting conditions and tool life, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include following EHS rules, measuring dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and keeping tools in good condition.

Qualifications

Ability to learn and understand basic machine operation.
Ability to focus and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
Ability to learn speed and feed rate control of machines.
Ability to work and communicate within a team.
Ability to recognize defects and out-of-tolerance measurements.
Ability to document measurements clearly when required.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

Follow all EHS rules and regulations.
Produce parts according to print requirements using various machinery.
Measure part dimensions with calipers, micrometers, or tape measures.
Maintain tools and equipment in good, clean working order to maximize tool life.
Perform safety checks on every machine, keeping the area clean and orderly.
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to special processes.
