Job summary

Newly Weds Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to monitor, operate, and troubleshoot packaging equipment in a high-volume production environment. You will follow SOPs, GMP, and safety procedures while ensuring products meet weight, seal, and label specifications. End-of-shift washouts and sanitation must be completed.

You will load materials, make minor machine adjustments, perform defect checks, and document all shift activities. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow SOPs, machine priming, basic operating procedures and sanitation procedures.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment in mass/high volume production.
• Ability to manipulate small parts and gauges.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems during operation.
• Set up machine at shift start and perform safety checks.
• Adjust machine components to meet product specs.
• Load packaging material and handle jams or malfunctions.
• Inspect and remove defective items meeting quality standards.
• Document shift activities and communicate performance.
• Perform washouts for sanitary processes.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce quality products per customer specs and GMP procedures.
• Carry out complete washouts of machinery at end of production run.
• Set up, load materials, run packaging, and adjust machines as needed.
• Conduct safety checks, document inspections, and maintain cleanliness.
• Record shift activities and communicate performance to other shifts.
