Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in Tennessee is seeking a machine operator to monitor, operate, and troubleshoot packaging equipment. Responsibilities include following SOPs and GMP guidelines, performing washouts and safety checks, and ensuring product quality per customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging/processing equipment.
• Ability to read SOPs and perform basic math.
• Must pass safety and sanitation training.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Follow SOPs, SSPOs, GMP procedures and safety policies.
• Complete washouts of machinery at end of production run.
• Inspect products for weights, seals, film orientation, codes and labels.
• Document shift activities and communicate performance information to other shifts.
