Job summary

Newly Weds Foods- Gerald, MO is seeking a packaging associate to support bagging on production lines. You will rotate to other positions as needed to meet packaging goals and customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency on the line.

The role requires at least 1 year of packaging experience in a food manufacturing setting and a High School diploma or GED. You will work on-site, adhere to safety procedures, and assist with inventory and paperwork as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent is required.
• 1 year minimum of packaging experience in a food manufacturing environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up packaging machine for startup and ensure it runs to weight specifications.
• Verify ingredients being bagged and confirm batch with supervisor as needed.
• Fill bags with product to required weight and maintain line standards.
• Assist with stacking and palletizing at line end when required.
• Complete paperwork and maintain product integrity; assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow LOTO procedures during equipment cleaning.
