Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a press operator/inspector to retrieve, inspect, and prepare product to customer specifications in a manufacturing setting.

You will operate press, inspect parts for shipment, and support setup and maintenance while adhering to safety and quality requirements. High school diploma and forklift/crane cert within 6 months are required, with ability to lift 40 lbs and work in hot, dusty conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, or related experience.
• Must obtain forklift and crane certification within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in hot, cold, and dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Operates press, inspects and prepares parts for shipment per instructions.
• Notifies supervisor of non-conforming product or machine issues.
• Communicates production issues with the next operator and grinds parts as needed.
• Reads job specs to determine machine adjustments and material needs.
• Reviews product for inconsistencies to meet quality requirements.
• Performs routine machine maintenance.
• Assists other operators to set up machines and meet deadlines.
